Triggerfinger
Triggerfinger is a Belgian rock band known for their energetic performances and eclectic musical style. The band was formed in 1998 in Antwerp and consists of vocalist and guitarist Ruben Block, bassist Paul Van Bruystegem (known as “Lange Polle”), and drummer Mario Goossens.
Triggerfinger gained attention with their unique blend of rock, blues, and alternative influences, combined with Block’s gritty vocals and powerful guitar riffs. They released their self-titled debut album in 2004, which received critical acclaim and helped establish them as a rising force in the European rock scene.
Over the years, Triggerfinger has continued to release albums and tour extensively, building a dedicated fanbase both in Belgium and internationally. Their live performances are particularly renowned for their high energy and raw intensity, showcasing the band’s dynamic musicianship and stage presence.
Some of Triggerfinger’s notable songs include “I Follow Rivers,” a cover of the song by Lykke Li which became a major hit for the band, as well as original tracks like “All This Dancin’ Around” and “Perfect Match.” They have earned widespread acclaim for their music, drawing praise for their inventive songwriting and powerful performances.
