Ilse DeLange is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and musician. She gained prominence both in the Netherlands and internationally with her country and Americana-influenced music. DeLange started her music career at a young age and rose to fame in the late 1990s with her debut album “World of Hurt,” which became a huge success in the Netherlands. Since then, she has released numerous albums and singles, often blending elements of country, rock, and pop music. DeLange has also represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 as part of the country-pop duo The Common Linnets, achieving great success with their song “Calm After the Storm.”
