Biography

Golden Earring Undercover is the Golden Earring tribute band of the Netherlands. Five musicians from The Hague who all have a link with the Golden Earring. Golden Earring has not only been a source of inspiration to make music, they have shared the stage with The Hague heroes, worked in the studio with them or provided support during a tour, to name just a few things.

Band members:

Martin Van Der Starre – Vocals
Frontman & lead singer. Known for Jesus Christ Superstar, Woodstock the Story and Jan Akkerman band. With his enthusiastic and energetic stage performance, he is the ideal frontman for Golden Earring Undercover!

Ron Knoester — Guitar & Vocals
Known for Billy the Kid, Pioneers of Nederpop and The Clarks. With his guitar sound and voice he is the ideal man for ‘Kooymans’ parties!

Dennis Van Hoorn — Drums
Known for Najib Amhali, PlusSupportAct, Twarres.

Bas Knoester — Guitar
Known from Sem Rozendaal and also ‘son of’ (something with apple and tree). Bas takes care of all additional ‘Hay & Gelling’ parties!

Dave Bordeaux — Bass
Known for, among others, Billy the Kid, Diesel and La Bomba. With his cool sound and groovy way of playing, he is guaranteed to bring a good dose of rock & roll!
